• Made from galvanised high-strength steel for durability and strength.

  • Suitable for agriculture, food processing, and industrial manufacturing, with customisation options available.

  • Ideal for materials requiring regular and efficient discharge with minimal residue.

Wide range of sizes and capacities

  • Diameters: From 3m to 14m
  • Capacities: From 10 m3 to 4,300 m3
  • Outlet height: Variable upon customer requirements

These options make our hopper silos adaptable to your specific operational needs, whether you require small-scale storage or larger industrial capacities.

Durable materials and advanced manufacturing

Our hopper silos are constructed using high-quality corrugated steel sheets, manufactured from pre-galvanized steel coils. These materials are sourced from approved suppliers, ensuring compliance with strict quality standards.

  • Material grade: S450GD + Z600 Zink Coating or Magnelis© ZM310 o ZM430, compliant with EN-10346 standards
  • Corrugation design: Each steel sheet features waves measuring 106 mm in length and 13 mm in depth, with a useful height of 1,166 mm and length of 3,140 mm.

Designed for performance and longevity

  • Wall sheets design: The feature of our corrugation is 106 mm wave length and 13 mm in depth, with an useful dimensions of the sheets of 1,166 mm height and 3,140 mm length.
  • Steel thickness: Ranges from 0.8 mm to 3.5 mm, with tailored combinations to meet structural requirements.
  • Hopper angles: Optimised for efficient product flow, available in 45° or 60° angles depending on the type of material stored.
  • External stiffeners: Ensure the silo remains stable under heavy vertical loads by transmitting the weight to the foundation.

Used norms

The two main norms used for the determination of loads and pressures acting on silos are based on the European EUROCODE and the American ANSI ASAE Standards.

Norms EUROCODE / ANSI:

In silos calculated according to EUROCODE, the loads and pressures acting on the walls of the silo are based on EN 1991-4 Actions on Structures: Silos and Tanks, and when calculated according to ANSI, the grain loads are based on ANSI / ASAE EP433.

Structural evaluation:

The structural assessment of the silo and any steel structure is based on the following standards:
o EN 1990 Basis of Structural design
o EN 1993 Eurocode 3: Design of steel structures
• Part 1.1. General rules and rules for buildings (EN 1993-1-1:2005)
• Part 1.3. Cold formed thin gauge members and sheeting (EN 1993-1-3:2006)
• Part 1.5. Plated structural elements (EN 1993-1-5:2006)
• Part 1.8. Design of joints (EN 1993-1-8:2005)
• Part 4-1. Silos (EN 1998-4:2006)
