The aeration of cereal grains is a fundamental tool to preserve their quality during storage.
Properly used, this technology allows to control the temperature of the grain and limit the development of insects, thus avoiding deterioration and losses.
After an exhaustive study of the type of grain (size, composition, variety, moisture content, density, etc.) and according to the capacity of the silo and its dimensions, we calculate the necessary venting area and necessary specific airflow to guaranty that we will be able to correct any problem inside the silo caused by the overheating of the grain.
The venting area is formed by galvanized steel plates, perforated, to allow an homogeneous distribution of air throughout the stored volume of grain. We have plates of different widths, with different resistances, to be able to adapt the system to the load requirements of each model.
We supply fans from the main European manufacturers in the industrial ventilation sector, which offer a great variety of solutions, totally adapted to the technical requirements of our customers. All products are ATEX certified and meet the strictest safety and environmental requirements.
For the correct dimensioning of the system, we use our own software that selects the fan or fans according to the required air volume calculated at the maximum static pressure in each case (when the silo it is full of grain).
